TERMS OF SERVICE

Pricing and payment Pricing structure: each package consists of a base rate. Custom quotes can be provided inclusive of agreed upon project scope and deliverables. Deposits and payments: a non-refundable 50% deposit must be paid before any work commences. The remaining 50% balance is due upon final sign off of the project and before the deliverables are sent. An invoice will be issued at the beginning of the project.

Scope of work: Deliverables: final files will be delivered in accordance with selected package. File types include: jpg, png, pdf, svg, .ai, .eps Included revisions: each design package includes 3 free revisions. Any additional revision after will incur a fee of an hourly rate of $100p/h. Revisions apply to only one of the design concepts presented. Concepts & variants: Both the logo suite and business starter kit include two different design concepts, whilst the full visual identity includes one. Should an additional concept wish to be developed after the initial concepts have been presented, each additional concept will incur a fee of an hour rate of $100p/h.

Timeline and deadlines: Estimated timeline: each design package varies in time frame. Time frames are an estimation and can change should unforeseen circumstances arrive. Client response time: to ensure the projects continues moving forward in line with the timeframe, feedback must be given within three working days of when the presentation was sent.

Intellectual property rights: Ownership transfer: the rights of the logos and visual identity remain property of T.HANSON Design until final payment is recieved. Unused concepts: any unused design concepts within a project remain property of T.HANSON Design. Designer attribution: T.HANSON Design reserves the right to use any logos and visual identities created for usage across portfolios, websites, social media and marketing materials. Projects will be witheld from sharing until the client has either a. launched or shared the the project themselves, or b. giving approval for the project to be shared online by T.HANSON Design.

Client responsibilities: Required information: the design process is a collaborative process and should not be rush. The client is required to provide accurate information including business contact details, as well as considered responses to questionnaires and discovery calls. Approval and sign off: before any final files are prepared and delivered, a formal approval must be provided by the client.

Communication policy: Preferred communication: email communication is preferred to ensure the project information is stored in one place. T.HANSON Design reserves the right to ask any communication made via social media to be redirected to email Response time: communication from T.HANSON Design will be within one business day. client feedback is to be provided within three business days. No communication: should no client communication be recieved within 30 days, the project will be terminated and an invoice will be issued for the remaining balance of the project. If a client would like to continue the project, a reactivation fee will be charged to resume and fit within the current work schedule.

Termination of project: Termination by designer: T.HANSON Design reserves the right to end the project should a client not adhere to previously listed terms, unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour. Termination by client: Should unforseen circumstances arise and the project must be cancelled, options are available. the 50% deposit is non-refundable. Should a client cancel by choice during the project, an invoice for the remaining balance must be paid.

Acceptance of terms: Agreement: by confirming a project and proceeding with payment signifies the client’s agreement to the terms of service.
